Handcrafted Wood-fired Sauna in Hampshire

The Fallen Willow Sauna...

Unplug from it all and enjoy the numerous benefits of heat and nature to recharge the body and soul in a traditional wood-fired sauna, handcrafted locally by Dorset Saunas.

The Fallen Willow Sauna is an escape from it all “slice of paradise” off-grid sauna, surrounded by unspoilt nature peacefully situated next to “Mistletoe Lake” – a privately owned secluded lake in Cottonworth, near Stockbridge and Andover, Hampshire.

Nestled within an idyllic clearing, surrounded by willow trees and wildlife, our sauna seats up to 6 people, with a picturesque panoramic view looking out over the Lake. Bathing in the heat, with the fire glimmering and steam rising, you can embrace the benefits to the mind and body through therapeutic passive heat and the exhilaration of cold-water therapy as you dip into the unspoilt lake.

Open all year around, available for private or community bookings for those looking to unwind, enjoy nature and to improve wellbeing. BOOK

“The sauna was not built for saving time but for spending it well.”

About The Fallen Willow...

The Fallen Willow Sauna is the brainchild of partners Jo Caley and Jonathan Grobler, born out of a shared passion for bringing wellbeing to the community.  The name "Fallen Willow" represents "life after adversity" .  There are times when life can feel at its lowest ebb... we may feel like a fallen willow tree... broken at the roots.  Our beautiful fallen willow, full of life at the lake side, uprooted and fell, which quite often means the end of a tree's life.  However, from this broken place, the willow tree began to create new roots, find new life, new purpose and is now a thriving tree from it's new fallen position!  AND now an integral part of the sauna creation.

ABOUT JO: Jo is a yoga teacher at JOGA, a cold water swimming enthusiast and a keen advocate for healthy living; empowering and encouraging others to take control or their own health, happiness and wellbeing.

ABOUT JON: Jon, a born and bred, elephant loving South African, is an outdoor enthusiast of the countryside.. where he is often found mountain-biking, hiking or kayaking.  Jon's life motto is "This is not a practice round....!"
